I went over to Hinckley Reservation tonight to try out the trails on the northern side. I parked at Top O' Ledges which is where I turned around last time. The beginning was pretty slow going since it was mostly downhill with roots, rocks and ledges. The ledges reminded me of the ledges by Happy Days in the Cuyahoga Valley.
After I got off the trail by the ledges, I continued down by the lake, followed that for awhile, then hopped on the Metroparks' asphalt path. I stayed on that until the Spillway Picnic Area. There were a bunch of people here enjoying the park and some were swimming in front of the spillway.
On my way back, I saw some climbers by the ledges. It was a great run overall. It's always fun to explore new areas and trails. I'm not sure how far I ran, but I'm guessing about 5 based on time.

Hi Jeff,
I found your blog post while searching for info on Hinckley Reservation online. I work in Richfield, and several folks at my office are looking for a nearby place to run at lunch. Did Hinckley have good dirt trails (we're old and our knees aren't what they used to be)? Did they have a shower?
Nice blog, man!
