Well, I decided to try a different layout since I thought my old one looked dark and gloomy. We'll see how this one works. I wish you could center the header picture. Does anyone know how?

You can resize it...and then stretch or crop every thing to fit. On my blog, the header picture fills the space if it is 739 pixels wide. As far as centering it in the blue, but keeping that size, I am not sure.
I like the new format though...the old one was dark....
